The celebration of the Eucharist is central to the Catholic faith and thus Mass is celebrated on four of the five campuses. We have withdrawn our weekly mass from MIT for 2014, but are still available on request and Fr Carl Telford, based across the road from MIT at St John the Evangelist, warmly welcomes students and staff. For more information check out their website http://otaracatholic.org.nz Please check out the Mass Schedules and venues for each campus.
The Chaplaincy team also hosts Mass every 2nd Sunday of the month at St Patrick’s Cathedral, this is a great opportunity for Catholic students to participate as Eucharistic ministers, Readers and Musicians so please approach one of the team if you are interested in getting involved.
Our Chaplain priest, Fr Bernie is available for reconciliation or for any sacramental help that you may need. If you would like to offer Mass for a specific intention, do not hesitate to approach any of the chaplains and make a request.

“University life offers you the gift of being exposed to ideas, beliefs and lifestyle. Often, our best decisions result from careful discernment, involving personal reflection, talking with others and conversation with God. So I want you to be aware that there is The Auckland Catholic Tertiary Chaplaincy present and active on the university campus. I wish all involved in university life – students, faculty members, other staff – God’s blessing.”
